FORDI is an acronym for the Forum for Democratic Initiatives. It is a non-governmental, non-partisan, non-profit civic organization established in Sierra Leone since 1995.

To contribute to the process of consolidating democracy in Sierra Leone through civic education, upholding human rights, public policy advocacy, peace building and development.

FORDI works through interactive outreach programs including the Civic Guide Bureau, Community and radio Outreach, Democracy Library and Resource Center, Schools Democracy and Peace club, Media Supplements, and Civic Groups Support Initiative.
